Questions
HOW LONG DO YOU USUALLY STAY ON THE DAY?
My full day coverage include up to 9 hours of coverage, as a standard. However, I’m happy to stay as long as you like! Full day coverage typically starts a couple of hours before the ceremony, and finishes until just after the first dance. For any additional hours coverage beyond the standard 9 hours, a £175 charge will be applied per hour.
HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING DO WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WE GET TO SEE THE IMAGES?
Trust me, I am just as excited to share your photos with you as you are to receive them! So after every wedding, I send over a little “sneak peek” the very next day for you to get excited over and share with your friends and family. Then, approximately 6 weeks after the wedding, your full private online gallery will be ready and delivered to you via email. The images in your online gallery are all high res, so are perfect for using to make thankyou cards, printing or sharing on your social platforms. Your online gallery will be available for 6 months, so do be sure to back up your gallery to multiple locations before the expiry date.
If you have a selection of prints included within your package, these can be chosen through your online gallery. Once you have made your final choice, your prints will be delivered approx 2 weeks later.
DO YOU OFFER HALF DAY SERVICES?
Of course – I appreciate every wedding is different! So I’ve created a couple of smaller packages with all your micro wedding needs in mind. Please note, my smaller packages are only available Sunday-Thursday (during peak season.) Please enquire for further details.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
I use 2 professional camera bodies, both Canon R6’s, which are both regularly serviced and upgraded when required. I use a variety of top range prime lenses and indoor flash equipment for receptions or when natural light is very limited.
WILL THE PHOTOS BE EDITED?
Yep, all the photos you receive will be edited in my signature working style.
ARE YOU INSURED AND BACKED UP?
Absolutely. Keeping your images safe will always be my number one top priority! I shoot on dual cards in each camera body throughout the day, so I have a duplicate back up card should one fail for any reason. My cards are kept on my person at all times throughout the day too. I have separate hard drives for backing up your images once I’m back home and I NEVER delete any files until your gallery has been delivered in full and you are happy with your final gallery.
All my equipment is insured and I have full Public Liablity and Professional Indemnity Insurance too for your peace of mind. If your venue require my insurance documents please do get in touch and I’ll be happy to provide them.
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?
Absolutely! I am currently working with a wonderful album supplier, who are renowned for their stunning print quality and attention to detail, ensuring every album they make is of the highest standard. More info on albums can be found on my ‘What’s in the box” page under the info tab, and album brochures are available upon request.
HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN WE EXPECT TO RECEIVE IN OUR FINAL GALLERY?
I carefully select the best images from your wedding that will make the final cut – but don’t worry, I will never keep any photos from you that I think you’ll want. I Full day coverage can expect to give you a minimum of 600 high res images.
DO YOU TRAVEL ABROAD?
Yes! I would love to travel for your European Destination Wedding. Destination Weddings are charged based on my current standard pricing, plus expenses (including visas etc, if applicable.) If you are considering booking me for your wedding abroad, please enquire as soon as possible for more information and I would love to chat!
WHEN DO YOU REQUIRE FULL PAYMENT BY?
I require a 25% deposit of the total price upon booking, which is included in the final price and is non-refundable. The remaining balance can be paid up to 30 days before the wedding.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK?
The earlier the better! I usually start taking bookings up to 18 months in advance, however, last minute bookings are always welcome! My availability varies depending on the time of year, however, cancellations can happen and I rarely have to turn clients away, if key dates are booked well in advance or if dates can be flexible.
WHAT DO YOU WEAR ON THE DAY?
Smart, usually all black. I take a professional approach on my image, but comfort is also important!
CAN WE BOOK A VIDEOGRAPHER?
Of course! I absolutely love working alongside videographers. I would highly recommend booking a videographer in style similar to myself, to ensure you receive the best possible service (from both sides!) and to avoid any clashing. I work best with relaxed, contemporary videographers who share similar values to myself. Of course, I’d be more than happy to share with you my list of recommended videographers who I love to work with.
