my STYLE
& APPROACH

A considered approach…

modern in aesthetic. honest in feeling.

My approach is guided by observation rather than orchestration. I’m attentive to the rhythm of the day – knowing when to step forward with direction, and when to step back and allow a moment to unfold uninterrupted.

I’m drawn to nuance: the quiet exchanges, the understated gestures, the atmosphere in a room just before something significant happens. These are the details that give a gallery depth.

While I’ll gently guide you where needed – particularly during portraits – nothing is forced. The goal is photographs that feel composed yet uncontrived. Effortless, but never accidental.

A wedding is layered. There is elegance, movement, energy, stillness. My role is to navigate all of it with discretion, so that what remains are images that feel natural, elevated and entirely reflective of you.

Heartfelt photos that hold real meaning.

The most meaningful photographs are rarely the loudest ones.
They’re the subtle exchanges. The almost-missed glances. The quiet pride in a parent’s expression. My focus is not just on what happens – but on what it feels like to be there.

Photography isn’t just about taking photos. It’s about paying attention.

A photographer’s value isn’t measured by how many frames they take, but by what they choose to see.

Over the past decade, I’ve learned to read a room instinctively – to anticipate the embrace before it happens, to sense when laughter is about to ripple across a table, to notice the almost-missed moments unfolding in the margins.

On your wedding day, I move with discretion. Present but unobtrusive. Calm, observant, and always aware of the wider story unfolding around you.

You won’t feel directed at every turn – but you will feel supported.

EFFORTLESS, NEVER OVERSTATED.

Portraits should feel like you – just at your most relaxed and confident.
I offer gentle guidance when needed, ensuring you never feel unsure or exposed in front of the camera. But there are no rigid poses, no exaggerated theatrics, no unnecessary performance.

Instead, I create space. Space for movement. For conversation. For genuine connection.

The result is imagery that feels elevated yet entirely natural – modern without being trend-led, timeless without feeling traditional.

kind words

Where to start? My wife (aah!) and I asked Jasmine to photograph our intimate legal wedding in February, and to say it was the best decision we could’ve made is an understatement. With just 10 people there, Jasmine felt like part of the family. My wife and I aren’t naturals in front of the camera, but she made us both feel relaxed, beautiful, and like we were just with our friend. She couldn’t have done enough for us on the run up to the day, and went above and beyond on the day itself. Our photos are just so stunning and we look at them thinking of how perfect the day was and how amazing Jasmine made us both feel. Hire Jasmine, she is simply a joy and so talented.

Got Questions?

Every wedding is different, but for full day coverage you can typically expect a minimum of 600 carefully curated and individually edited images. Don’t worry, I’ll never hold back any images I think you’ll want.

Absolutely. Family portraits are an important part of the day for many couples. I’ll help you plan these in advance so they feel organised, efficient and never overwhelming. I encourage group shots to be taken throughout your drinks reception whilst everyone’s looking their best, and to keep the list to a sensible number (I recommend no more than 10) so that you can fully enjoy your drinks reception.

If there’s one good thing to come out of the pandemic, it’s that wedding photographers across the UK have pulled together to establish emergency wedding groups, should for any reason we need to urgently find cover. We’re a force to be reckoned with in a crisis and we will do whatever it takes to ensure you are not left without a photographer on your wedding day. I will always endeavour to give you as much notice as possible if I think I’ll be unable to attend your wedding day, and provide a list of trusted associates for you to choose from.

Of course. Additional hours can be added if you’d like coverage of later celebrations or a specific moment planned for the evening.

Absolutely. Having a second shooter is the perfect solution if you want to prioritise capturing both partners during the morning preparations, you’re having a large wedding party, or you simply want to ensure you have broader perspective of key moments. I work with a close circle of wedding photographers who I know personally, and trust will provide you with a high quality service I would expect. Please enquire for further info.

I’ve tailored my wedding packages so that they’re inclusive of all travel for weddings in mainland UK. So you can rest easy knowing there won’t be any extra fees for mileage or accommodation costs.

I shoot with two professional mirrorless Canon R6 II bodies, L series prime lenses, and 2 Godox V1 flashguns. I’m equipped for all lighting scenarios and I have necessary back up equipment for your peace of mind.

A signed contract and 25% booking fee secure your wedding date in my calendar. From there, I’m with you throughout the planning process – offering timeline guidance and support where needed.

I work alongside a small number of talented videographers whose approach complements mine beautifully. I’m always happy to share recommendations.

For wedding bookings over 6 hours, a hot meal is always very much appreciated. Most venues can be quite far away from any shops/restaurants, so being able to have a break onsite is always preferred. It also means I’m close by so won’t risk missing out on capturing anything!

Yes. I am fully insured, and your images are backed up securely in multiple locations throughout the editing and delivery process. If your venue requires my insurance documents, please do get in touch and I’ll be happy to provide them.
