Ohh take me back to Nadine and Stephen’s gorgeous summer wedding  at Millbridge Court last July! I realise how long overdue this blog post is… as I sit down to write about a summer wedding in my woolly socks with a hot cup of coffee, looking outside my frosty window, wondering where the time has gone and wishing it was warm again! 

I met Nadine and Stephen at an open day that Millbridge Court were hosting a few years back. We instantly connected (pretty sure my initial reaction to Nadine approaching me, was fan girling over her outfit for a good 5 minutes) and I knew straight away that we were a perfect match for each other. When you meet a couple who loves the details as much as you, you know you’re in for a treat! 

Working alongside me capturing video on the day was of course the dream girl that is Hannah, at Hannah Films. Always such a gem to hang with and her work is unreal! 

The weather was especially kind to us, allowing Nadine and Stephen to tie the knot in the beautiful outdoor ceremony area, with the canopy arch lavishly decorated with white roses, lilies and eucalyptus thanks to BBL floral design – and yes it really did smell as good as it looked!

Kalm Kitchen were of course on hand too, with ALLL the food, fizz galore and absolutely legendary canapés; because what other catering company presents their canapés in a decorated bird cage?! 

Their musical entertainment, Micheal Moore, (who I think had to be a major highlight of the day for me) kick started the party during the wedding breakfast, with his incredible renditions of some classics on the piano… all songs available on request! Nadine, Stephen and their guests were dancing on the tables before food had even been served! Safe to say the party atmosphere was STRONG. 

The excitement continued, as after speeches we trekked over to the fields with the entire bridal party for THAT smoke bomb shot.. needless to say the result was epic and so much fun! I only fell over once too, so all in all, a success! 

The evening festivities commenced once the cake was cut, and Nadine and Stephen shared their first dance. The evening entertainment was equally insane, with a live Saxophonist accompanying a DJ – who would have put the two together?! 

There was no shimmer of doubt that their wedding was by far one of the most entertaining amongst all of my 2019 weddings… Can we just do it all again guys!?
