Carly & Jack’s gorgeous September wedding truly saw us into the beginning of this cosy Autumn season. Their leafy green colour palette and wild floral designs were absolutely brought to life by the warm and welcoming Ramster Hall, situated in the idyllic Surrey Hills.
Carly and her maids kicked off their morning preparations in style at Pook Hill Cottage, a quintessentially English Bed and Breakfast conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Ramster Hall.
The whole venue was lavishly decorated with assorted wild green foliage and flowers, beautifully created and arranged by Michelle Rust Floral Designs, which really complimented their lovely colour palette.
The Wedding Breakfast Hall had been transformed into a leafy green haven, amongst an abundance of candles and fairy lights which made the room look magical! A delicious spread of courses prepared by catering company, Jacaranda, were enjoyed by all (especially myself!)
Carly also happens to be a Cake designer, so naturally had to make her own wedding cake which went down an absolute storm! 3 tiers of goodness.. including a delicious iced purple roses tier with golden foiled edge that looked incredible… the pictures of it just make me want to eat it all! When I thought it couldn’t get any better, it was beautifully displayed on a vintage trolley supplied by Surrey Wedding Company, and decorated with more beautiful foliage. (can you tell I love the word foliage yet?)
The evening shenanigans got underway following Carly & Jack’s first dance under the fairy lit ceiling, and guests enjoyed the evenings music entertainment provided by “The DJ”, along with a cheeseboard spread and wine bar.
I absolutely loved shooting at Ramster Hall, with the abundance of gorgeous window light and spacious gardens, it was perfect for all weathers.
