Steph & Ollie – Port Waterhouse Wedding on the Salcombe Coast – June 2019

Steph & Ollie tied the knot last month, and I had the pleasure of capturing not just one, but TWO celebrations for them!

This blog is all about their legal ceremony in Salcombe, a beautiful seaside village on the Devon Coast. Coincidentally, it was also somewhere we used to go on family holidays a lot some years ago, so lots of memories naturally came flooding back which was lovely!

The morning preparations started just outside the town centre, then after a short taxi journey and boat ride across the harbour we arrived at The Port Waterhouse, a brand new venue; so new that Steph & Ollie were the first to legally marry there – awesome!

Steph & Ollie decided to keep their official celebration intimate, with only their close family and friends joining them for the ceremony and a delicious sit down meal prepared for them by ‘Le Guest Chef’. I was lucky enough to be invited to join the the meal too and I can confirm it was incredible!

The views from the Port Waterhouse were simply stunning, with sunny blue skies and views stretching all across the Salcombe harbour. It even had its own private balcony and boardwalk, which was appreciated by their guests who could fully admire the view! It certainly felt like we had our own private island for the day…
