If you’re looking for beautiful, back garden marquee wedding inspo, then look no further than Rochelle and Aidan’s incredible late August wedding at their family home in the Leistershire country. From the first day I met Rochelle & Aidan, I knew their day was going to be another kind of special. We met up in a bar in Clapham Junction a few months before and excitedly chatted through their wedding plans; each little detail sounded like an absolute dream – I couldn’t wait to capture it all! And surely enough, everything about their day lived right up to the expectations and beyond.
They had so many wonderful personal touches throughout their day. Aidan and Rochelle share a mutual love for music festivals, many of which they have attended together as a couple over the years, as well as being very musical themselves (Aidan has his own band – ‘Smuggler Jack’). So naturally, this had to be a present theme somewhere within the wedding! So when Aidan announced all the guests to come outside after dessert for a surprise, of course it had to be Smuggler Jack doing a live set for some pre evening entertainment! The atmosphere was electric – everyone danced like their lives depended on it until the sun dipped behind the corn fields – it was just the best surprise ever and so much fun! The whole day was full of fun and laughter.. Aidan and Rochelle are truly treasured amongst their family and friends it’s quite easy to see why. I don’t think either of them stopped smiling all day!
I’ll stop waffling and allow you to unveil the magic for yourselves below.. because sometimes words can’t quite do images justice. But, if there was one thing I could talk about for days, it would of course be THAT golden hour…
