Alice & Andy – Grange Barn – September 2018

by | Feb 26, 2019

Every aspect of Alice and Andy’s gorgeous DIY wedding in the heart of the Lincolnshire Countryside was just a JOY to photograph. I have to admit, I think September might be my new favourite month in Wedding Season. The golden autumnal light was a sight to behold!

Alice & Andy conveniently had their church ceremony just a stones throw away from their reception venue, at the Grange Barn. The walk to which made for some beautiful portrait shots, in the gorgeous afternoon sunlight. Result!

Their purple colour theme was beautifully integrated into their day – from the bridesmaids dresses to the flowers, to the lovingly handmade table decor.

To kick off the evening and to celebrate Andy’s Scottish heritage, they hired a Celiah Dancing Band which got everyone on their feet – such an energetic and fun thing to photograph at the evening reception!

Thanks again to Alice and Andy for having me along to capture their special day. I’m super excited to also be capturing Alice’s sister’s wedding, Rosie, next month in Manchester – yay!

If you enjoyed Alice & Andy’s blog and are still on the hunt for your UK wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you. Just fill out my contact form and we can get chatting! My 2019 availability is now very limited with only a few spaces left, so please do get in touch sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Look forward to hearing from you!
